Pearce gets in the ring. Pearce says he’ll give Ripley a match against Nia Jax for the championship at Elimination Chamber.

Nia Jax’s music hits. Jax quickly makes her way to the ring. Pearce tries to get in her way, but Jax sidesteps him. Ripley and Jax brawl in the ring and knock Pearce off the apron. Pearce shouts for security. Security guards run down and try to separate them, but Jax avalanches them all. Jax then hits Ripley with an Annihilator! Jax slaps Ripley in the face and walks off with a smile on her face.

The Judgment Day Clubhouse

The Judgment Day is watching backstage. WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley says if Bayley chooses her at WrestleMania, then it’s her funeral. Ripley will remind her who she is. Tonight is about sending a message, a message that wasn’t sent at the Royal Rumble. Damian Priest says they’re done with distractions. Finn Bálor says everyone is getting too comfortable challenging the Judgment Day. Tonight, they’ll show the world how vicious they are. Bálor and Priest walk off.

Later on…

Bayley is in the ring with WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors, WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY, and Dakota Kai. Together, they all make up Damage CTRL. Bayley says she’ll let the people take a picture of them in the ring. When was the last time the Women’s Tag Team Champions, the Women’s Champion, and the Royal Rumble were all in the ring together? It’s never been done before. This is history, all because of Bayley. Everyone thought Bayley was done, that she wasn’t as good coming back from injury… she might not have been on the poster, but she is a winner. Bayley won against the most stacked women’s roster they’ve had. She also beat Rhea Ripley’s record and lasted 63 minutes and 3 seconds.

Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley comes out to the stage. Ripley says the only reason Bayley beat her time in the Royal Rumble is because she wasn’t in the match. The rest of Damage CTRL has gold. If Bayley chooses her for WrestleMania, it will remain that way. All of a sudden, Nia Jax attacks Bayley from behind. Jax fights Ripley into the ring and hits her with a leg drop. Jax drops two more leg drops before hitting her with an Annilator! Jax approaches Bayley, who cowers in the corner. Jax tells Bayley to pick Iyo because Ripley is not making it to WrestleMania. Bayley sheepishly says she’ll make her decision this Friday.

The Judgment Day Clubhouse

The Judgment Day is watching backstage. Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley says this is not good. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce told her that next week on Raw, Finn Bálor and Damian Priest will defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against #DIY. She thinks Drew McIntyre is the least of their worries. Priest says he’s not trying to fight everyone. McIntyre will be handled by Priest. He’s not the one walking around with a big head because they’re on the cover of 2K. Priest also isn’t the one going to Pearce’s office to make matches for the Judgment Day every other week. Priest wants her to stop going to Pearce’s office. Priest is going to clear his head for this match. Judgment Day business is under control. Priest walks off.

Ripley tells JD McDonagh and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio that #DIY should have been taken care of long ago. Bálor is laughing. Ripley asks Bálor what is so funny. Priest will take care of McIntyre alone. She tells Bálor he’ll be at ringside with JD for Dom’s match. It’s been a while since she’s seen the vicious side of Bálor. Bálor asks if she wants vicious. He’ll show her vicious.

Monday Night Raw Results & Recap – December 18, 2023

The Judgment Day makes their way to the ring. Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Finn Bálor and Damian Priest head to the ring alongside Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh.

Damian Priest welcomes everyone to Monday Night Raw and tells them to rise for the Judgment Day. Finn Bálor sarcastically puts over the Creed Brothers for becoming the #1 Contenders for the Undisputed Tag Team Championship. For them, it’ll be the biggest match of their careers and the biggest night of their lives. For Priest and Bálor, it’s just another night at the office because they’re stepping in the ring with the only two-time Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions of the World.

Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley takes the microphone. She warns Ivy Nile not to run her mouth, or she’ll make what she did to her friend Maxxine Dupri pale in comparison. It’s as simple as this: the Judgment Day ran 2023 and will continue to run 2024. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio starts to speak, but the crowd boos him down. Mysterio shouts that the Judgment Day runs all of WWE.

R-Truth comes out wearing a Judgment Day shirt with his name written on tape over it. R-Truth welcomes everyone to the show and gets in the ring. R-Truth thinks he’s in Judgment Day. The beatdown last week was his initiation. R-Truth isn’t one to complain, but they crossed a line a little bit. He was hurt physically and emotionally. R-Truth calls Priest “DP” and says he knows he didn’t mean it when he said he didn’t like him. JD McDonagh says if getting hurt is what R-Truth is worried about, he should get out of the ring now.

R-Truth says it seems like everyone is looking for a fight. Ripley wants to beat up Nile, while Bálor and Priest want to beat up the Creed Brothers. R-Truth needs someone to beat up on. R-Truth then stares at McDonagh. R-Truth says he’s seeing the Christmas trees and lights. There is a lot of animosity between him and McDonagh. They need to squash the beef to be a happy family in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight. McDonagh says the match was already made and advertised. R-Truth says 34th Street is far away and asks Siri how far it is. McDonagh says it’s happening in this ring and says R-Truth isn’t in the Judgment Day. R-Truth says he’s not in the Judgment Day if he loses his match, but McDonagh isn’t if he doesn’t win. This will be a “Loser Leaves the Judgment Day Match.” Priest looks amused and says it’s good to go. McDonagh says he’ll need a miracle to beat him.

The Judgment Day’s Clubhouse

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Finn Bálor and Damian Priest and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio are joking with JD McDonagh about losing to R-Truth. JD McDonagh looks devastated and thinks he’s out of the Judgment Day. Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley is not happy that they’re taking the loss so lightly since it reflects on them all. She wants them to get serious. She’ll get them on track by facing Ivy Nile in two weeks with the Women’s World Title on the line. Bálor says they’ll show the Creed Brothers why they are the Tag Champions.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship

Priest charges, but Brutus catches him. Priest tries to fight out, but Brutus keeps the big man powered up and hits a back suplex.

Bálor and Julius tag in. Julius hits a pair of shoulder tackles followed by an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Julius kips up and hits Priest with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Julius kips up and hits Bálor with another overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Julius connects with a standing shooting star press for a two-count. Julius gets Bálor on his shoulders, and Brutus climbs for a Brutus Ball, but Priest pushes Brutus to ringside. Bálor rolls Julius up for a two-count. Julius knocks Priest off the apron. Julius and Bálor then take each other out with a double clothesline.

Rhea Ripley attacks Ivy Nile from behind and puts her in position for the electric chair. Nile gets out and puts Ripley on her shoulders before putting her on her shoulders. Nile slams Ripley onto the apron. The Creed Brothers then hit Bálor with the Brutus Ball. 1… 2… Priest breaks up the pin. Priest goes for the South of Heaven, but Julius fights out. Julius flips through and dropkicks Priest out of the ring. Julius scales the ropes and hits a wild somersault senton to the floor on Priest!

In the ring, Bálor hits Brutus with a Sling Blade and follows up with a Woo Dropkick. Bálor goes to the top rope, but Julius scales the ropes for a superplex. Priest blind tags in and gets Julius on his shoulders. Brutus crotches Bálor on the top rope. Julius gets off Priest’s shoulders and lifts him for a Brutus Ball! 1… 2… Bálor breaks up the pin with a Coup de Grâce! The crowd is going wild! Brutus spills out of the ring with Bálor and lands hard. In the ring, Priest hits Julius with a South of Heaven for the win. Julius kicked out right after the final count of the pin.

“I hear voices in my head. They counsel me. They understand. They talk to me.”

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring to a huge ovation. The 14-time World Champion is excited to be back on Raw. Orton has not appeared on Raw in 18 months since undergoing double-fusion spinal surgery. The Viper gets in the ring and climbs to the second rope to strike his trademark pose.

A loud “Randy” chant picks up. Orton is dressed in all black tonight. Orton looks moved by the ovation and shouts, “Thank you!” Orton says it sounds like maybe a few of them missed him. They cheer in the affirmative. Orton says he’s back for as long as he can stay here. Without any further adieu, he wants to cut right to it. Orton says, “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Monday Night Raw!”

Orton says he was gone awhile and chuckles. A “Welcome back” chant fires up. Orton thanks them. That whole time he was gone, it gave him plenty of time to think about all his accomplishments and accolades. They’ve heard all of them before and won’t bore them to death because there are quite a few. There is one thing Orton has never done, which is compete at WarGames. When his dear friend, “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, gave him a call, he picked up the call and was in. There’s another reason why he wanted to be in the match. WarGames was invented by Cody’s father, the late and great “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. It was about being part of wrestling history and making moments. Orton got to make a moment on Saturday.

Orton is also back because he has unfinished business to attend to. That unfinished business has to do with the Bloodline. Orton has made a career of putting guys on the shelf, sometimes permanently. Orton can forgive but not forget. Orton has a bagful of receipts for every single member of the Bloodline. When he says “every single member,” he means EVERY single member. Nashville knows what those receipts are going to come in the form of. They’re the three most dangerous letters in all of sports entertainment: R-K-O! The crowd chants, “RKO!”

“THIS IS MY BRUTALITY!”

Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley makes her way to the ring without The Judgment Day. The Eradicator gets in the ring with the Viper. Ripley sarcastically welcomes Orton back. She says she didn’t think he was someone who would do favors for others or team with someone who tried to end his career. She didn’t think he’d have his big return after a year and a half upstaged. The crowd lightly boos. Ripley says Orton looks more dangerous than ever. It would be a shame to have all of that wasted because Orton doesn’t seem to have realized that the landscape has changed. The Bloodline has fallen and the Judgment Day has risen to be the dominant force in WWE. When it comes to WarGames, that was just a bump in the road. The reality is, they’re all dripping in gold. She wiped the floor with Zoey Stark. Her Latino Heat “Dirty” Dom is your NXT North American Champion. When it comes to Finn Bálor and Damian Priest, they hold the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship that Orton nearly lost everything to get. If it weren’t for Orton, Damian Priest would be your World Heavyweight Champion. Orton has come in here and made a lot of enemies who can make his life a living nightmare. Orton needs to stop focusing on the Bloodline. Unlike the Bloodline, the Judgment Day gets the job done and will put him out permanently.

An “RKO” chant fires up. Orton looks knowingly out into the crowd. Orton says he stated that he kept in touch and watched the product while he was gone. Every week, it’s all about Rhea Ripley. Mami this and Mami that. Guess what? Daddy’s back. The crowd roars, and a”Daddy” chant fires up. Orton says a lot of things have changed, which is true… a “Who’s your Daddy” chant picks up. Orton says the one thing that hasn’t changed and never will as long as he is here is nobody tells Randy Orton what to do. Ripley laughs heartily. She sees that Orton made his bed. She tried to warn him and give him an out, but he has made the Judgment Day his enemy now.

JD McDonagh, in a neck brace, and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio attack Orton from behind! They double-team him in the corner, but Orton fights out. Orton sends McDonagh shoulder-first into the ring post. Orton grabs Mysterio and swings him to the apron for a hanging DDT, but McDonagh cuts him off. Orton drops McDonagh with an RKO. Mysterio escapes the ring and runs to Ripley.

Orton tells Mysterio not to go far. As soon as he leaves this ring, he’s going to find Adam Pearce and make sure he gets Mysterio in the ring tonight!

The Judgment Day’s Locker Room

Finn Bálor comes in and says they cannot take the Creed Brothers lightly. Damian Priest isn’t listening, but he says he heard him. Priest says he can see on their faces that they appointed him the leader of WarGames, but they lost, and he let them down. Rhea Ripley says that Judgment Day is a family. They rise and fall together. Bálor says they’re still the Tag Team Champions. It’s all good. Ripley says just because they made Priest the leader of WarGames and it didn’t turn out in their favor, they’re not going to blame him. Priest says he appreciates it. Priest asks how JD McDonagh is doing. Bálor says he’s still being checked out and suggests they check on him. Priest agrees.

“I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD!”

RANDY ORTON makes his return after more than a year. He is clean-shaven. The crowd gives him an incredible ovation. Orton gets in the ring and closes the door. The bell rings to officially start WarGames.

McIntyre stares at Orton from the second rope. McIntyre gets into the first ring and stares down his old nemesis. Priest attacks Orton from behind. The Judgment Day beats down Orton in the corner. Monday Night Raw Results – November 13, 2023

The Judgment Day, with Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley watching on, decimate Rollins and Zayn. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso run down. A massive brawl breaks out. WWE officials and security run down to restore order. Jey gets Priest in the ring and superkicks him. Jey hits the ropes for a Spear, but JD McDonagh runs in and pushes Priest out of the way and takes the Spear.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce gets in the ring and screams that he’s seen enough. It’s another night and another ruined match. They have an important title match, and this cannot happen again. The people deserve better. Pearce says everyone involved in WarGames is banned from ringside… only that’s not good enough. They are banned from the arena. Ripley is irate and gets in Pearce’s face.

-Commercial Break-

We return from the break to see Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley still in the ring chastising Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. Ripley says this is complete crap. Monday Night Raw needs the Judgment Day. Pearce cannot just ban them from this arena. Pearce asks if she doesn’t like it. Ripley says she doesn’t. Pearce says, “Frankly, my dear, I do not give a damn.” She doesn’t run Monday Night Raw, nor does the Judgment Day. Pearce runs Monday Night Raw. She may not like it, but she better not show her pretty little face during that main event because she is…

Zoey Stark’s music hits. Stark, who will face Ripley for the Women’s World Championship next Saturday at Survivor Series, says she knows Ripley isn’t as dumb as she looks. Ripley knows what Stark is doing out here. Pearce tries to stop this, but Ripley says she wants to hear what Stark has to say. Stark gets in the ring. Stark says she’s inside Ripley’s head. Ripley is spread too thin worrying about too many things. There’s WarGames, the Tag Title Match, little Dom-Dom, and now her title. Stark went through all those women last week. Ripley isn’t going to overlook her.

Ripley says she’s not overlooking her. She’s been watching Stark since NXT. Ripley knew it was only a matter of time before they were in the ring staring face-to-face. Stark has accomplished a lot in her first year. She sent the WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus packing. She beat “The Man” Becky Lynch. Stark has cemented herself as one of the top women in WWE. It’s funny, though, because now that she thinks about it, Stark reminds Ripley of herself. Stark is a future champion, but the only way she’ll win a title in this company is if she’s on the opposite brand from her because Mami is always on top. Ripley says she’s not overlooking her or spreading herself too thin. She can handle the Judgment Day, the Tag Titles, WarGames, Dom-Dom, backstage politics, and the Women’s World Championship because she’s Rhea “Bloody” Ripley. Now that Stark has said her piece, she can get out of the ring while she handles Judgment Day business.

Stark says she nearly took the title at Crown Jewel, but she WILL become champion at Survivor Series. Stark throws the microphone down and walks off. Ripley goes to attack her, but Stark pulls the top rope down to get her out of the ring. Stark goes for a dive, but Ripley backs off. Stark shouts at Ripley from the ring.
The Judgment Day Locker Room

The Judgment Day is in their locker room. Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley says they need to focus on the Tag Team Title match before suggesting they ask their “fearless” leader. Damian Priest says he got a little upset and said what he said. Ripley says it would be good for WarGames if Priest was in charge. Ripley then mentions that Priest could be sitting in the trainer’s room if it weren’t for JD McDonagh. They think it’s time to make McDonagh a full member of the Judgment Day. Priest says he is ok with it and will handle it himself.

Replays are shown of Drew McIntyre giving Jey Uso the Claymore Kick to cost Jey and Rhodes the Tag Team Titles.

Drew McIntyre stands at the top of the ramp and stares down at the ring. Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley comes out and stands next to him. McIntyre looks over at her. Ripley extends her hand, and McIntyre shakes it! McIntyre smiles at her, and she smiles back. Rhodes and Jey do not look happy in the ring.

Out at number 25 is Austin Theory. Edge, meanwhile, chases The Judgment Day to the back. He ends up brawling with Balor and Priest in the aisle. Rhea Ripley comes out and starts beating on Edge but then from behind, Beth Phoenix appears and the crowd goes wild. She blasts Ripley with a Spear to pop the crowd again.

Women’s Royal Rumble Match

We shoot to ring announcer Samantha Irvin, who informs us that it is now time for the 30-woman Royal Rumble match. With that said, she begins the brief explanation of the rules and when she wraps up, Rhea Ripley’s theme hits and out comes The Judgment Day member as entrant number one.

“It looks like mami is in for a long night,” says Corey Graves on commentary as she emerges from the back and heads down to the ring. She settles inside the squared circle and her music dies down.

Now in as the second entrant is former SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan. Michael Cole reminds us that Morgan claimed she wanted to enter this match in the number one spot. He says this is just as good.

Morgan and Ripley start the women’s Royal Rumble match off as the bell sounds to get this one underway. Ripley pounds the crap out of Morgan for the first minute or so and just as Morgan starts to take over on offense, Dana Brooke comes out as the third entrant.

Dana Brooke comes in with a Barbie inspired Margot Robbie look, as Corey Graves points out on commentary. She hits a big super-plex on Morgan off the top-rope and when the countdown clock expires, Emma comes out as the number four entrant.

As the four women in the match thus far duke it out in the ring, the countdown clock appears again and out comes Shayna Baszler as the fifth participant to enter the match. She dominates for a while as the commentators sing her praises for her past work in Rumble matches.

The countdown clock appears again and when it expires this time, out comes Damage CTRL’s Bayley as the latest entrant. She mixes it up with the other competitors in the bout and then the seventh entrant comes out, none other than B-Fab from Hit Row. Within 36 seconds, Rhea Ripley eliminates her.

Out at number eight is NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. The Texas native who is from Laredo makes her way to the ring as the commentators sing her praises and remind everyone she is a Booker T standout student from Reality of Wrestling.

Perez hits some nice spots and lets out a nice war scream to get the fans to pop. The countdown clock appears and when it expires, out at number nine is another Damage CTRL member, Dakota Kai.

Dana Brooke and Liv Morgan start to beat down Damage CTRL members Dakota Kai and Bayley. When the countdown clock hits and runs out again, the third Damage CTRL member Iyo Sky hits the ring and makes the save for Bayley and Dakota Kai, stopping them from being eliminated by Brooke and Morgan.

Emma avoids elimination but moments later, Dana Brooke isn’t as lucky, as she gets eliminated. Emma is eliminated by Dakota Kai a few seconds later. Roxanne Perez nearly eliminates Dakota Kai but she avoids being dumped out.

Perez ends up getting eliminated and then the countdown clock expires and out comes Natalya. Michael Cole reminds everyone that Shayna Baszler broke her nose the last time we saw her and immediately the camera shows Baszler doing the Vince McMahon “gulp” facial that he’d make when the glass would shatter for “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s entrance.

Nattie goes straight after “The Queen of Spades,” taking it to “The Submission Magician” with a vengeance as the commentators sing the praises of the women’s wrestling legend. Out at number 12 in the women’s Royal Rumble for her third Rumble appearance is Candice LeRae. She goes right after Dakota Kai upon entering the ring.

We see Natalya avoid being eliminated by Baszler. She nearly throws Baszler out but the refs claim only one of her feet hit the floor. Baszler slaps her choke finisher on Nattie and then Damage CTRL comes over and eliminates them both.

Zoey Stark from NXT comes out as the 13th entrant in the match. She battles with the women in the ring and then Xia Li comes out as the fourteenth entrant in the match. LeRae is eliminated by Damage CTRL and then the countdown clock appears again. When it expires, the familiar sounds of Becky Lynch’s theme hits and out comes “The Man” as entrant number 15.

A bunch of the members in the match go under the bottom rope and they all gang up and beat down “Big Time Becks” outside of the ring. The Damage CTRL trio continue to work her over, throwing her into the barricade and leaving her laying before taunting the commentators.

Now the theme hits to bring out entrant number 16 — Tegan Nox. She comes off the top and splashes onto a bunch of the women in the match. At number 17, out comes Asuka to an enormous pop from the San Antonio fans.

She plays the crowd like a fiddle, getting one of the more impressive reactions from the crowd of the night. She eliminates Tegan Nox and then Piper Niven comes out at number 18. You heard that right. Piper Niven. Not Doudrop, although the commentators immediately start with the puns.

The 19th entrant hits and out comes Tamina. She and Niven go at it and then Lynch finally recovers and gets in the ring. The countdown clock strikes down and out at number 20 is Chelsea Green. As soon as Green gets in the ring, Ripley throws her right back out. Michael Cole speculates that she has broken the record at 5 seconds for the fastest elimination ever.

Becky Lynch eliminates Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky but is then eliminated herself by Bayley. Bayley is then eliminated by Liv Morgan. Lynch and Damage CTRL start brawling at ringside as the action continues inside the ring with the participants still in the match.

Zelina Vega comes out dressed as one of the characters in Street Fighter 6, the video game. Michael Cole informs us that she is one of the voices in the new video game. She settles inside the ring as the latest entrant. Vega takes out Rhea Ripley and then she eliminates Xia Li.

The countdown clock appears again and when it expires this time, Raquel Rodriguez’s theme hits and the hometown favorite of the San Antonio crowd comes out to a big pop and makes her way to the ring. She dukes it out with Vega in the ring and then the clock appears again. It expires and out at number 23 is Mia Yim “Michin.”

We see the countdown clock appear again and when it expires out at number 24 is Lacey Evans. Evans dominates some of the participants and then tells the fans to stand and salute her.

The countdown clock appears again and after being shown as a cameo in the front row earlier, Michelle McCool’s theme hits and we see her stand up from her seat in the front row, take her jacket off, tell her kids she loves them and then hops up on the barricade to pose before heading into the ring and immediately duking it out with Piper Niven. The fans break out in loud “You still got it!” chants. McCool then eliminates Tamina.

After another clock appears and expires, out comes another NXT talent as Indi Hartwell runs down to the ring as the next participant in the match. The countdown clock appears again and when it expires this time, the number 27 entrant, Sonya Deville, comes out. Zoey Stark is quickly eliminated by Deville.

Lacey Evans locks Zelina Vega up in a standing camel clutch while on the middle ropes. She ends up dropping her out on the floor from all the way up there for the latest elimination. Out at number 28 next is Shotzi in the T.C.B. Tank.

Deville makes another elimination, tossing Indi Hartwell out and ending her night early. Out at number 29 comes Nikki Cross. She sprints to the ring as Corey Graves calls her Usain Bolt. She hits the ring and doesn’t bother taking her ring jacket off, instead immediately mixing it up with everyone in reaching distance.

Out of nowhere without a countdown clock, the theme for Nia Jax hits. We see the countdown clock at number seven appear on the screen as she makes her way out. Odd. Anyways after the production glitch, we hear the crowd react and the commentators over-react to Nia Jax making her way to the ring for her return WWE appearance as the surprise entrant in the 30th and final spot.

Every single woman in the match all gang up together and go at Nia Jax. She ends up fighting them all off. Then Raquel Rodriguez and Nia Jax go face-to-face and we’re supposed to look at this as competitive moments after Rodriguez and the rest of the women in the match couldn’t collectively.

Nia Jax fights everyone off and continues to beat down anyone in sight, stopping to shriek out about how she is the best. Rhea Ripley nearly scooped Jax up from behind, but Jax avoids it. Ripley hits on her some more and then does, in fact, hoist her up (sort of) for a Rip-Cord. The women all gang up again and then throw Nia Jax over the top-rope to eliminate her.

We’re down to the final ten in the match, as all 30 have entered, and Raquel Rodriguez eliminates Lacey Evans. We see Rodriguez fighting it out with Asuka now, while Liv Morgan looks to make an elimination in the background. Rodriguez throws Asuka and Deville over the top, but they each land on the ring apron and start kicking Rodriguez.

Moments later, Deville is eliminated by Asuka. Ripley eliminates McCool.

Shotzi is eliminated, as is “another human,” as Pat McAfee points out on commentary after Piper Niven launches someone over the top for another elimination.

Piper Niven hits a big cannonball spot on Rodriguez in the corner of the ring and then she heads to the middle rope looking for a Vader bomb. Instead, Rodriguez gets under her and lifts her over the top. She then kicks her off the ring apron for the elimination. Ripley and Rodriguez lock up and both go flying over the top, but Ripley hangs on and Rodriguez ends up eliminated.

Ripley runs over and dumps Nikki Cross over the top rope, and Asuka. They both start fighting back at Ripley from outside the ring ropes on the apron while Ripley is in the ring. Liv Morgan runs over and eliminates Cross. We’re down to Ripley, Morgan and Asuka as the final three and the fans give them a standing ovation as they look around at each other.

We see Ripley and Morgan nearly eliminate each other. All three end up on the ring apron outside the ropes, Asuka sprays Morgan with the green mist and then Ripley kicks her to eliminate her. Morgan is blinded by the mist but still in it, and Ripley is still active as well. Ripley picks up a blinded Morgan, who hits a Code-breaker that nearly eliminates her. Ripley holds onto the ropes as her feet dangle, but Ripley gets a headscissors on her and uses her legs to eliminate her. Ripley wins. One hour, one minute and three seconds. Entered number one and won.

Winner of the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble match: Rhea Ripley

After the match, Ripley sits up and bites the ropes as the music hits. She is all smiles as Asuka and Liv look on from the floor. Ripley hits the corner to pose, and she points up at the WrestleMania 39 sign s the pyro goes off. We see more pyro going off outside of The Alamodome. We go to replays. Ripley continues her celebration while sitting on the top turnbuckle.
