Video: The story of the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour. Last year, Rhea Ripley viciously took out Liv Morgan by breaking her arm with a steel chair. On the Raw after WrestleMania, Morgan returned and injured Ripley, causing her to vacate the Women’s World Championship. Morgan would vow to take everything from Ripley. Over the next few months, she won the Women’s World Championship and focused her attention on trying to steal “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio for herself. Last week on Raw, Ripley would return moments before it looked like Mysterio would kiss Morgan in the middle of the ring.

RAW KICKS OFF WITH THE RETURN OF MAMI!

Backstage Segment

Rhea Ripley steps off an elevator and starts walking. She makes her way down the tunnel, travels through Gorilla Position, and heads to the entrance stage.

“THIS IS MY BRUTALITY!”

Rhea Ripley walks out to a massive ovation from the crowd in the Nutter Center. Ripley gets in the ring, and a loud “MAMI” chant picks up. Ripley says, “Monday Night Raw… Mami’s home!” The crowd loudly cheers her, and another “MAMI” chant picks up. It’s been a few months since she’s been in the ring, and that’s because of one person… Liv Morgan. The crowd loudly boos Morgan’s name. Ripley has seen Morgan running around with something of hers. It’s not Dominik Mysterio. She’ll handle him later. Morgan is walking around with something she never lost: the Women’s World Championship. Morgan thinks she took Ripley out, but all she really did was piss her off. She wants Morgan to come out here so Ripley can rip her apart.

“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio comes out instead to massive boos. Mysterio is carrying a black rose and wearing a cow skin vest. Mysterio begins to speak, but the crowd boos him down. Ripley impatiently waits for Mysterio to speak and crosses her arms in anger toward him. Mysterio gets in the ring and says, “Mamacita…” The crowd continues to boo him. Ripley turns her back on him. Mysterio cautiously approaches her.

“Rhea… oh, Rhea!”

Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan appears on the Titantron. Morgan apologizes for her voice. She had a long weekend in Mexico and has always been a screamer. She says, “Hi, Daddy Dom.” Morgan disingenuously asks how Ripley’s shoulder is. Morgan’s shoulder is fine because of the title. Morgan says Ripley knows for sure that she meant it when she said she wanted to take everything from her, even Mysterio. At first, she didn’t see what Ripley saw in Mysterio. She was confused and just wanted to hurt Ripley, but then she got to spend time with Mysterio, looked into his eyes, and kissed him. It all became very real to her, more real than what Ripley and Mysterio had. Since Ripley has been gone, she has Mysterio all to herself. While Mami might finally be home, Liv is finally on top.

Ripley sneers at Mysterio in the ring. Mysterio cautiously says, “Mami… it’s not what it looks like.” Ripley says she knew Morgan would be too scared to come out and face her. Morgan knows when she gets in Ripley’s ring, the Revenge Tour ends. Ripley waited three months for this. She thinks her patience can handle it a little longer. That’s why she’s setting out this challenge. Ripley says, “SummerSlam… Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan for MY Women’s World Championship!” Morgan says, “Rhea, I always knew that the endgame would be Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship.” Morgan says she’s not going to run. Morgan warns Ripley that she’s not the same person Ripley knew. Just like she helped Dominik beat his deadbeat dad, which Ripley couldn’t do, she’ll finally beat Ripley. Morgan accepts. Morgan says, “Oh, and Daddy Dom, I hope to see you there, too!” Morgan blows a kiss, and the video fades.

Ripley continues to sneer at Mysterio in the ring and paces around. Ripley knows Morgan is still listening and wants to say something loud and clear. Ripley says, “At SummerSlam, I not only end your Revenge Tour, I not only end your title reign, I’m going to end your career.” Ripley drops the microphone and mouths Morgan’s catchphrase, “Watch me.” Ripley blows a kiss and poses in the center of the ring. Mysterio holds the ropes open for Ripley, but she angrily looks at him. Ripley walks off, and Mysterio chases after her. Ripley mostly ignores him.

Backstage Segment

“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio is chasing after Rhea Ripley backstage. She walks ahead of him and pays him no mind. She enters the Judgment Day’s Clubhouse and sees bouquets of black roses. She asks, “What the hell is all this?” Mysterio says he’s trying to make it up to her. Ripley slams the door in his face. Mysterio turns and sees World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest standing there smirking. Priest asks if everything is ok. Ripley opens the door, throws the black roses into Mysterio’s face, and shoves a dog statue into his chest before slamming the door again. Priest is amused. Mysterio says it’s a little complicated.

The Judgment Day Clubhouse

World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest is with Rhea Ripley. The rest of the Judgment Day, minus “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, are playing WWE 2K24. He tells her it’s great to have her back. Ripley appreciates him holding everything down while she’s been gone. She says Priest still has a lot on his plate, and he is meeting with Gunther and facing Braun Strowman tonight. Priest says he’s got all of this. Ripley asks why Carlito is hanging out in their clubhouse. Before Priest can explain, Mysterio walks up and asks for a moment. Ripley rips a rose up in his face. Mysterio says he’s been trying to reach her all week. She asks where he was the last three months she’s been injured. Was he too busy with his girlfriend? Ripley storms off. Carlito comes up and plays Captain Obvious by saying, “She’s angry, huh?”

The Judgment Day Clubhouse

World Tag Team Champions Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh are talking with Rhea Ripley. Bálor wants to address the elephant in the room and acknowledges that Liv Morgan helped them win their titles. Ripley is fine with it. Morgan played her games, and it didn’t work. At the end of the day, the Tag Titles are back where they belong. Soon, she’ll get her title back.

“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio walks up and says Jey Uso was talking out of line about her, so he got a match to teach him a lesson. She asks if he’s stupid and wants to know why he would pick a fight with Jey Uso. Mysterio says he’ll cancel the match. Ripley asks if he’s a coward. Mysterio says he wants to show that she’s still his Mami and she belongs to him. Ripley is stunned that Mysterio thinks she belongs to him and angrily walks off. Carlito comes up to Mysterio and says, “Dude… not cool.”

“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio vs. “Main Event” Jey Uso

Before the match begins, Mysterio attacks Uso from behind and stomps him. The referee backs him up. Uso agrees to start the match.

The bell rings to start the match. Uso hits some punches, but Mysterio reverses a whip and connects with a dropkick. Mysterio shouts, “That’s my Mami!” Mysterio mounts Uso and punches him. Mysterio gets him to his feet and punches him down before choking him on the bottom rope. Mysterio stomps Uso back and puts him in the corner for some shoulder thrusts to the midsection. Mysterio connects with a snapmare and hits some crossfaces. Mysterio then cinches in a rear chin lock. Uso fights up, but Mysterio cuts him off. Mysterio starts up the Three Amigos. Mysterio completes the trio and floats over into a cover for a two-count. Mysterio waits for Uso to get up and dropkicks him into the middle rope. Uso ducks a 619 and pulls the top rope down to get him out of the ring. Uso hits the ropes and goes for a suicide dive, but Mysterio punches him down. Mysterio then drives Uso into the ring post facefirst.

-Commercial Break-

Back from the break, Mysterio catches Uso with a slingshot senton a la Eddie Guerrero for a two-count. Mysterio goes for a vertical suplex, but Uso lands on his feet. Uso punches away at Mysterio, does a little gyration, and hits a hard right hand. Uso kicks him in the midsection and uppercuts him before dropping him with a step-up enzuigiri. Uso catches Mysterio with a running hip attack, but a poor camera angle shows he missed by a bit.

Uso heads to the top rope. Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan runs down and pulls Mysterio out of the ring. Mysterio asks what she’s doing. Uso hits Mysterio with a baseball slide, knocking him on top of Morgan. Morgan turns Mysterio over and mounts him. Morgan goes to kiss him, but Rhea Ripley charges down to the ring. Morgan runs away. Mysterio tries to talk to Ripley, but she tells him to get in the ring. Uso immediately hits Mysterio with a Spear and goes to the top rope for an Uso Splash to pick up the victory.

Winner by Pinfall: “Main Event” Jey Uso

Jey Uso signals for Rhea Ripley to call him. Ripley storms off as Mysterio chases after her.

Backstage Segment

“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio is walking backstage, holding his head in pain. World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest comes up to him and says it was rough watching him with Rhea Ripley. Rhea Ripley walks up, and Priest walks off. Ripley says she wants to get something straight. She doesn’t belong to anyone. She’s not Mysterio’s. Mysterio is hers. She hands him a black rose and walks off. Mysterio smiles.
